Vogelnest
Synopsis
Vogelnest follows Lydia, an isolated teenage girl trapped in an outdated house with her religious vampire mother, Maria. As a vampire, Maria can only survive by consuming Lydia’s blood through a machine that drains her daughter daily. Lydia accepts this sacrifice as a divine necessity and obeys the strict rules that govern their secluded existence. Until she discovers that the world beyond the house is not the nightmare Maria described to her.
